Welcome to the Fayette-Coweta Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) webpage. Fayette-Coweta ARES is a group of amateur radio operators who voluntarily provide communications services to our local community during emergencies and time of need. To facilitate doing that efficiently we also participate in local events and public service projects which provide training and communications experience for our members.

WEEKLY VHF NET

The Fayette-Coweta ARES net is every Tuesday evening at 2100 (9:00 PM) local, in conjunction with the Fayette County Amateur Radio Club (FCARC), on the KK4GQ 145.210 (-) repeater in Fayette County, and linked to the N4OME 147.165 (+) repeater, in Coweta County. Both repeaters feature a PL tone of 131.8 Hz. You may also check in using Echolink via KI4NGD, node 317195. All amateur radio operators are invited to check in giving their callsign, name, and location. Membership in ARES or living in either Fayette County or Coweta County is NOT required so please join us. Click here to view the net script.
